Minister Of Health Bill Blair Clarifies New Timeline for Legal Weed in Canada

On CBC the point person for the Canadian Government on the legalization of Marijuana came on to explain the moving timeline: 



Here are the highlights: 
- Senate will hold vote on or before June 7th
- The bill will have to go back to the house
- It is estimated that they will take 8 - 12 weeks after royal ascent to implement regulations for production and distribution
- This pushes the timeline later than the original July 2018 date
