Business Insider reports that a new GSS Data Report shows a record 61% of Americans want marijuana to be legalized across the United States. 

The rise is support is reflected in all ages groups and political affiliations. While support is still highest in the 18-34 demographic, and higher among Democrats than Republicans, all demographics are still seeing an increase. 

Currently 10 states allow marijuana for recreational use, including California, Oregon, Washington State, and Nevada, and 33 more have approved medical use.
