It was a big day yesterday for marijuana legalization in the United States as Michigan, Missouri and Utah all passed marijuana laws.

Michigan voters voted in favor of legalizing recreational marijuan with 55.9% of votes. That makes them the first Midwest U.S. state to legalize marijuana. 

Voters in Missouri and Utah both voted in favor of medical marijuana legalization, making cannabis for medical use available to half the country. 

According to the latest Gallup Poll, 66% of Americans now support marijuana.

Marijuana did see one setback, as North Dakota voters appear to be saying no to a similar measure as Michigan for legal rec sales. 

With the Democrats gaining control of the House 3 more states going legal, pot stocks could see a short term surge, according to this Bloomberg Report
